Course Description: The second week of the training program covers the details of developing a project management plan or THE PROJECT PLAN. The main topics that are covered in this 1st session are: "Framing the Plan" – Integration, developing the project scope statement, schedule, cost estimate and budget, defining the quality requirements, defining the various roles and responsibilities and communication requirements for the project and finally managing risks and the procurement/contracting process. As in PPM1, the above highlighted the key concepts that would be addressed in this 2nd session of the PPM. We have allocated significant amount of time for discussions, planned Q&A, individual and group exercises, in addition to the case studies and "real life stories" about past projects from the program leader/facilitator. By the end of this session, the participants would leave with a workable project management plan for a project. Duration: 5 days Contact Hours: 35 hours /PDU (for PMP)
