With a strong foundation and possibly an achieved credential, a professional who are already started a Project Management career and looking for opportunity for advancing their careers via Continuing Education and on the job training. The Strategic Management courses will allow a professional to seek project management excellence via a life long learning approach; i.e. focus on education rather than just training.
1. Organizational Maturity (OM) Organizational Maturity refers to business concepts of the emerging Organizational Project Management (OPM). Consistent excellent performance in project execution requires two essential parts, the competencies of the individual performers and the organizational systems and infrastructure that are available for these individuals. These courses will help us focus on both the individuals and organizational contexts.
1) PDU: Professional Development Unit – a term used by PMI®; post PMP® (2) Hrs: mean Contact Hours – a term used by PMI® for structured training; pre PMP®
These topics are per the PMI® Framework, similar to above; however, the courses under Advanced Knowledge are at a higher and more practical level then what is presented in the PMBOK® Guide core competencies courses.
