Target Audience: Suitable for Project Managers, Team Managers, Project Support Staff, Quality Assurance Staff and for anybody else who is somehow involved in participating or running one or more projects. Course Code: P2Fnd Course Objectives: Covers the basics of the PRINCE2 method. The training course is aimed at giving delegates an understanding of the philosophy behind the PRINCE2 method and is aimed at preparing delegates for the official PRINCE2 Foundation exam. Training course is given in partnership with Stichting Partners in Business, an Accredited PRINCE2 Training organization. Description: 3 days program with the official PRINCE2 Foundation exam given at the end of the third day. Key element in the PRINCE2 Foundation course is the PRINCE2 process model using the PRINCE2 Trigger Map. Delegates will be shown how the model is setup, how the different project activities and project roles are linked together and how PRINCE2 deals with exceptions that imminent to occur in any kind of project. Learn how to set up a project management organization that is responsible for managing and planning the project. Delegates will be taught how to define the different project management roles to guarantee that the project is run in a most effective and efficient way. The method of ‘management by exception’ will play a crucial role in handling project issues. Course delegates can take the official PRINCE2 Foundation exam. If in a later stage delegates want to take the official PRINCE2 Practitioner exam they will have to have passed for the PRINCE2 Foundation exam. An accredited PRINCE2 trainer from Trans-Atlantic Consulting Group will give the training course. Course consists of a mix of theory and practical exercises. Most of the exercises will be done in small groups. The training materials are very complete. Every delegate receives a Pre-event manual, a PRINCE2 Event Manual with exercises and slides, the official PRINCE2 Trigger Map and the PRINCE2Train CDROM with a database of 350 sample exams questions.
