This event will bring our community an e-TQM Distinguished Visiting Professor Angappa Gunasekaran who will discuss the essential topic “Current and Emerging Operations Paradigms for the 21st Century Organizational Competitiveness”
This topic will highlight the current and emerging paradigms for the 21st century organizational competitiveness. Also, the evolution of manufacturing strategies, methods and technologies will be presented. The current operations paradigm focuses on the response supply chain incorporating the application of information technology/systems. It is also include the future operations paradigm. It should focus on globalization, technology and ethics.

Dr. Angappa Gunasekaran is a Professor and the Chairperson of the Department of Decision and Information sciences at the Charlton College of Business, University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth (USA). Dr. Gunasekaran has held academic positions at Brunel University (UK), Monash University (Australia), the University of Vaasa (Finland), the University of Madras (India) and the University of Toronto, Laval University, and Concordia University (Canada).
