DESCRIPTION
GPPMA is now an officially registered association in the U.A.E. and ready to roll out our programs to our members. Over the last six months, GPPMA have continuously strived to provide services to our professional community, while the registration was under process. During this past period, we could not take on members but are now ready to enroll members and progress towards a bright professional future.
During this event, our Chairman as well as the Board of Directors of GPPMA, will present the road map of the association activities as well as planned future programs for the year. We will also start enrolling members – both individuals and corporate. We are also keen to hear your opinions and suggestions on this day.
Following the GPPMA board presentation we will have a guest speaker from SUKAD, Ms. Nada Chaban, who will deliver a valuable presentation on the various professional certifications that exist in Project Management and the trends behind them.

Ms. Chaban is an honors graduate and holds a Master degree in Project Management from Université du Quebec en Outaouais and Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Damascus University. Ms. Chaban has eight years Marketing and Sales Manager experience. Prior to SUKAD™ , Ms. Chaban had provided professional services in various global locations; such as Canada, and the Middle East. She has developed innovative and cost effective strategy, consumer communication strategies and provided training and development opportunities to improve employee's' skills.
Mr. Ajam is a senior professional with more than 20 years of professional experience in the Engineering, Construction, and Process Industries (oil & gas, petrochemical, utilities) and most of his experience has been on the management of projects. His experience is Global obtained in the United States, United Kingdom, South East Asia and the Middle East. Mr. Ajam is the senior partner and co-founder of SUKAD™ FZ-LLC (SUKAD™ ), a professional consultancy and training service provider that is based in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates but operating across the Middle East. Mr. Ajam is currently serving as SUKAD™ Chief Executive Officer and lead consultant. In addition to his professional experience, Mr. Ajam has held numerous volunteer leadership roles. These include: serving on the 2008 PMI® EMEA Congress Project Action Team (CoPAT), International Correspondent for PMForum and PMWorldToday (two leading web portals dedicated to promoting Project Management). Mr. Ajam also a co-founder and the first chairman of the Board for the recently established Global Project and Process Management Association (GPPMA), which is based in Dubai, U.A.E. He has been a Project Management Professional (PMP®) for more than 10 years. He is a graduate from the Project Management Institute (PMI®) prestigious Leadership Institute Masters Class.
